VPR's series of campaign debates continues Oct. 15 at 7:00pm with the Secretary of State race, a 60-minute live debate moderated by Bob Kinzel.

The Secretary of State is Vermont's top elections officer: ensuring that voters' rights are upheld, and elections are run fairly. VPR has invited the major party candidates -- Democratic incumbent Deb Markowitz, Republican Gene Bifano, Progressive Marjorie Power and Liberty Union candidate Leslie Marmorale -- to explain how they would approach the job, and how they see the key issues facing the office.
