VT Edition Interview: Frederick Lane on religion in government

Wednesday September 3, 2008

In his new book, "The Court and the Cross: The Religious Right's Crusade to Reshape the Supreme Court" Vermont author Frederick Lane argues that the barrier between church and state is under assault - and that, increasingly the U.S. Supreme Court is playing a role in the offensive being carried out by the country's religious right. VPR's Jane Lindholm spoke with Lane about his book and the role of religion in government.
