Vermont gave Barack Obama a runaway victory in the state's Democratic presidential primary earlier this year, and now Vermont's members of the Democratic National Committee are hoping that result will carry through tothe general election in November. They're in Denver where the DNC gets underway today.
Tomorrow, Senator Patrick Leahy-an early supporter of his senatorial counterpart from Illinois, will address the party faithful...and this morning-from Denver-- we're hearing from Chuck Ross, the director of Senator Leahy's offices.
Ross says while the VT delegation's chief purpose is to support and propel Barack Obama to victory, it's not their only focus in Denver this week:
