Baseball, of course, is not just for the pros. And beyond the many opportunities for kids and young adults to play ball, for those of us getting on in years there's also the Green Mountain Mens' Senior Baseball League. You have to be at least 38 years old to play, 40 to pitch, and under those criteria VPR's Mitch Wertlieb qualifies.
Mitch hit the dugout while his team -- the Essex Junction Dodgers -- took batting practice before a recent game, and asked his teammates what motivates them to play a game that, frankly, favors the young.
