One Burlington Meals on Wheels recipient got his lunch delivered by a special guest yesteerday.

Senator Patrick Leahy delivered the organization's two millionth meal. The program has been feeding the city's older citizens two-meals a day since 1972.

And it's not just Burlington. Hundreds of volunteers around the state are checking in on older people to provide nourishment, and a little bit of company.

We spoke with the Director of the Burlington program, Peter Carmolli and a volunteer, Gwen Carmolli outside of the group's kitchen.
