Last year, the last of six original maple trees on the Derry, New Hampshire property where Robert Frost lived had to be removed because it was diseased. Now, a new one will be planted in its place.
The old tree was said to have inspired some of Frost's poems, including ``Tree at My Window.''
The new tree will be planted on Saturday, June 7th.
Wood from the old tree was distributed to artisans, who are crafting it into walking sticks, bowls, furniture and other items to be auctioned at a charity event.
