A Vermont District Court jury in Rutland began its deliberations a half-an-hour ago in the Brian Rooney murder case; the Vermont Crime Laboratory's DNA lab was dedicated this morning to the memory of Patricia Scoville, who was murdered in Stowe 16 years ago; a Middlebury College graduate who was in China's Sichuan Province last week when it was hit by an earthquake says she's turned her attention to relief.
