The U.S. Department of Justice recently filed a brief urging the dismissal of a Federal Court ruling affirming Vermont's right to set stricter emissions standards than the federal government. Vermont Law School professor Pat Parenteau talks with VPR's Jane Lindholm about the ongoing debate over whether states have the right to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles.
