Interview: "Forbidden Kingdom" screenwriter, John Fusco

April 18th is the worldwide opening of the film The Forbidden Kingdom, an adventure epic with martial arts superstars Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

The film was written by Vermont screenwriter John Fusco.

Fusco has written a number of Hollywood screenplays including Young Guns, Thunderheart and Hidalgo. He has himself studied martial arts at the Vermont Kung Fu Academy in Essex.

He lives in Lamoille County and spoke with VPR's Neal Charnoff about the film.
