Recently Middlebury College hosted the 2008 Vermont Geographic Bee. Students from schools all over the state gathered to compete to see who would be the state champion. Our champ goes on to the national finals in Washington next month, hosted by Alex Trebek of Jeopardy fame.We went down to see the final round, where the top 10 competitors duked it out for that championship spot. Rob Michalak, the social mission and public relations director at Ben and Jerry's has been the moderator for many years. And he leads us through the bee.
