(Host) A former U.S. poet laureate
will be in Vermont tomorrow for a day-long series of poetry readings and
workshops at Lyndon State College.
He will also be presenting a poetry reading which is open to the public tomorrow evening at 7.
Ted Kooser was the U.S. Poet Laureate from 2004 to 2006, and has been awarded a Pulitzer Prize, among other literary honors.
He is currently a professor of English at the University of Nebraska, and continues to promote poetry through a weekly column provided to newspapers and online publications.
Ted Kooser lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, and joins us from the studios of Nebraska Public Radio.
