As part of VPR's weeklong series ``Getting By,'' VPR's Jane Lindholm talks to Carol MacLean of Pownal, who makes a little more than $10 an hour as a full-time driver for Green Mountain Community Network in Bennington. She has three children, only one of whom is
still living at home, and she's been struggling to get them the best education
possible. MacLean has worked a number of
jobs: retail, secretarial, but says this is one of the better jobs she's had.
