(Host) Everyone knows the photobooth
experience. You sit down, alone or with
some friends, the machine snaps some pictures, you wait a
tantalizing three minutes, and out pops the strip of photos, saved for
posterity.
Vermont photographer Nakki Goranin celebrates this medium in her new book, "American Photobooth".
The book documents the 80-year history of the photobooth, and allows Goranin to share some of the 3000 photos she has collected over several decades.
Nakki Goranin lives in Burlington. She spoke with VPR's Neal Charnoff.
Goranin's book is published by WW. Norton and Company.
There will be an artist's reception at Pine Street Art Works in Burlington tomorrow at 2.
