Barre midwife helps women in Bali

Katherine Bramhall hates to travel, which wouldn't be such a big deal if she didn't do so much of it, and went to such far-flung places.

As we'll hear, Katherine Bramhall makes frequent visits to Indonesia, where she's trying to set up a permanent health clinic for some of Bali's poorest women.

Branmhall is a midwife who moved from Boston to Vermont several years ago. She settled in Barre. Bramhall says she got involved in helping people far away despite her propensity to be a homebody -- when she saw a news report on a natural disaster in Iran:
