VT Edition Interview: David Mindich & Nick Martin on "The Minor Candidate Report"

Thursday January 3, 2008
Jane Lindholm

Colchester, VT

Next week when New Hampshire voters go to the polls in the nation's first primary, there will be 42 people on the ballot! A group of students studying journalism and political science at St. Michael's College noticed that only 16 of the candidates are getting any mainstream media attention, and they wanted to change that. So they created a website dedicated to those they're calling the "minor candidates." St. Michael's Journalism professor David Mindich and student Nick Martin spoke with VPR's Jane Lindholm about the site.
