VT Edition Interview: Dr. Gil Welch on the Dartmouth health policy study

The overall picture of our health care system is one that leaves many patients, employers and health care providers wondering about the future. 

Most people think that the more we spend on health care, the better outcomes we'll have.  Extensive research at the Dartmouth Medical School clearly shows that this conclusion is wrong.  The study shows that there are cases where more care results in worse outcomes for some patients. 

VPR's Bob Kinzel spoke with Dr. Gil Welch, one of the people who's involved in this project about the study.
