Environmentalists hold "Leave No Child Inside" forum

Tuesday November 27, 2007

CONCORD, N.H. (AP)

A group of New Hampshire's environmental leaders are meeting today to talk about how to get children and families more connected to nature and the outdoors.

The ``Leave No Child Inside'' forum will be led by Richard Louv, the author of the book Last Child in the Woods. Louv's book said many children are suffering from what he calls Nature Deficit Disorder.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, the Sierra Club, New Hampshire Audubon and the Appalachian Mountain Club will all participate in the forum in Concord.
