Tuesday, 11/20/07 6:22am and 6:22am
Cell phone coverage for Verizon Wireless customers is going to get a lot better in Bennington County.
The company says 12 new cell towers will be turned on by the end of the year.
The company has received permits to install a "chain of cell sites'' along the Route 7 corridor from Williamstown, Mass., to Mount Tabor.
The new towers will help Verizon provide continuous digital cell service from Rutland County to Massachusetts.
