Episcopal leaders set goals to eradicate poverty

In Vermont this past weekend, Episcopal leaders met to discuss strategies
for eradicating global poverty, hoping to build on the framework set out
by the United Nations Development goals.
Vermont Episcopal Bishop Thomas Ely says the group was thrilled to be paid a
visit by Presiding Episcopal Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori, and to talk
about ways to eliminate poverty wherever it exists:
for eradicating global poverty, hoping to build on the framework set out
