Bill Littlefield speaks about the importance of sports

There are few people I enjoy talking sports with as much as Bill Littlefield.
The host of NPR's "Only a Game" has an encyclopedic knowledge of just about every athletic endeavor played by humans, but also likes to keep sports in perspective.
Bill Littlefield is speaking at Middlebury College Monday as part of Middlebury's "Meet the Press" series -- which is free and open to the public.
And I couldn't wait to find out what inspired the title of his talk: "Why we need sports (the opium of the people) Even Though We've Got Beer and Drugs":
