Interview: Karen Coshof, 'The Great Warming'

Thursday June 15, 2006
Mitch Wertlieb

Colchester, VT

A film garnering attention world wide for its warnings about climate change and for its famous narrator makes its debut in Vermont tomorrow.

It's called 'The Great Warming' and the Canadian production features the actor Keannu Reeves as one of its celebrity narrators. The movie began as a three-hour television series and morphed into a major theatrical release.

Karen Coshof is the producer of the film and lives in Montreal and in Vermont part time. She told Mitch Wertlieb that much like global warming itself, the film is in a state of flux, and there are still plans to add new material.

"The Great Warming" runs 6/16 - 6/22/06 at the Palace Cinema 9 10 Fayette Road, S. Burlington, VT.
