(Mitch Wertlieb) A new $3 million statewide technology project called "The Electronic Portfolio Collection" is being launched to help train future teachers in Vermont. The idea is to help prospective educators help themselves by making the most of computers in their classrooms.

The project teams the University of Vermont's College of Education and Social Services with Champlain, Castleton, Johnson, and Lyndon State Colleges, with some help from private and state entities as well, and will be announced at a press conference later this morning

Joyce Morris of UVM is the project's principal investigator and she joins us now to tell us more.
