(Neal Charnoff) Howard Dean took his presidential campaign to Boston Tuesday, the home turf of rival John Kerry and the site of next summer's Democratic National Convention. At the Copley Square rally, Dean said his campaign is not about whether he'll be the Democratic nominee, but who will protect the nation's ideals from the Bush administration, and what he called the "extreme right wing". Fred Thyce is a reporter for WBUR who attended the rally. He joins us from Boston.
