Friday, 04/19/02 12am
Vermont State Police have determined that last week's shooting death of a Montpelier man was not an accident. State police are asking for the public's help in finding additional information about two people seen near the American Flatbread Pizza in Waitsfield last Friday afternoon at about 2:10 p.m.
Twenty-four-year-old Declan Lyons, who was working outside American Flatbread, died after being shot once in the head. Police have released little information about the case.
Anyone with information is asked to call the state police in Middlesex at 229-9191.
