"I've been volunteering for VPR pledge drives for a very long time. We are certainly the ones who put the fun in Fund Drive. The staff of VPR is kinda stressed out. Actually they're really stressed out. (laughs) It's really the volunteers who keep things light, keep things fun. Volunteering for VPR is fun."

Volunteering at VPR gives you the opportunity to meet on-air personalities, behind the scenes staffers and other VPR supporters like yourself. You'll get to see the state of the art facilities including the on-air studio and the editing studios here at the Colchester station. Volunteers come from all age groups (our youngest volunteer is currently in kindergarten!). Many are high school and college students completing community service requirements for graduation, others are retired or active professionals. All are VPR listeners.
