Vermont Public Radio Launches Weekly Stream Featuring Live Performances of the Best in New Music

A live performance by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals kicks off Vermont Public Radio's new weekly online series of new music. VPR is collaborating with public radio station WXPN to stream live performances from the WXPN performance studios every Friday afternoon at 12 noon. The stream will feature live performances from artists creating a buzz on the new music scene.

"Many listeners have asked for more new music on VPR," says Jody Evans, VPR's Director of Programming.

This rising young band from Vermont is fast gaining national attention by selling out shows and stealing the hearts of audiences across the country. VPR is streaming online a live performance from Philadelphia the band is giving in the studios of public radio station WXPN.
