Be Green - Eat locally with these Recipes from VPR Cooks
Did you know that your average bite of food has traveled 1,500 miles to reach your lips? Not only does eating local foods help the environment by cutting down our use of fossil fuels, it supports our farmers and economy and tastes fresher, too.
Each day during our Green Membership Drive, VPR Cooks will feature a different recipe that can be made using local ingredients. If you have a favorite localvore recipe of your own, we hope you'll share it with us online here.
