Charles Rosen 1927-2012

Charles Rosen, pianist, author and scholar, died Sunday at age 85.  He received the National Book Award for his volume on the music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, The Classical Style, published in 1971.  We'll remember him with his recording of Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3.
