Summer is the perfect time to delve into that stack of books that's been piling up on your bedside table. What are some of your summer favorites?

Summer is officially here. That means, among other things, that it's time to break out a beach chair, and a few good books. Or sit on the porch or lie in a hammock, or pack your bags for vacation. To help you decide what should come along with you, whether in hardcover, in paperback or on your e-reader, we talk to Josie Leavitt of the Flying Pig Bookstore in Shelburne, and Mike DeSanto of Phoenix Books in Essex and Burlington, about popular reads this season, new books to keep an eye out for, and some of their personal favorites. Fiction and non-fiction, great literature and low brow guilty pleasures, everything is fair game.
