Rules Guide Start Up Of Vt. Marijuana Dispensaries

Nearly 500 people in Vermont have permission to use medical marijuana, but buying it legally is a challenge. Now the state is in the early stages of establishing up to four dispensaries where patients will be able to purchase medical marijuana directly. The dispensaries will be owned and operated by private non-profits, but setting them up is a process that the state is closely supervising. We talk with Jeff Wallin of the Vermont Criminal Information Center, which oversees Vermont's marijuana registry program, about the rules in place for how these facilities will be developed and operated.
Also in the program, New Hampshire lawmakers defeat a constitutional amendment on school funding in one of the last votes they hold before adjournment. Valley News Political Reporter John Gregg updates us on the latest from Concord.
