This week, our Art Hounds are on the trail of beautiful sounds: Some neo-soul, a bit of Bach and rousing show tunes.
Todd Lockwood, an author and portrait photographer, describes hearing Myra Flynn's voice for the first time as he walked down the Church Street Marketplace. Flynn performs as part of Burlington's Discover Jazz Fest.
Dick Drysdale is the editor of The Herald of Randolph. He recommends a free concert from pianist Simone Dinnerstein. performing the music of Bach at The Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph.
Jeff Salzberg is a lighting designer who says he has "chosen to spend his life in the dark in the back of the theater." He also says he may be "the only American theater person who has never seen "Nunsense," which he recommends at the Saint Michael’s Playhouse production opening on June 19th.
