Skiing and snowboarding are popular sports, but as this winter has proven, they can be dangerous. And this winter's erratic weather has made them even more challenging.

Stratton Snow Sports School Manager Alison Cummings, Neil Van Dyke of Stowe Mountain Rescue and Dr. Robert Williams discuss slope conditions, choosing the right trail level, skiing back country and wearing the proper equipment.

Also in the program, a legislative update from Concord.  John Gregg, political editor of the Valley News, discusses a few key health care and social issues before the New Hampshire Legislature, as lawmakers near the half-way point of the session.
