Adieux

09/09/11 8:00AM

It's been a little over seven years since I came to Vermont Public Radio to help launch VPR Classical, in the summer of 2004. These have been seven of the most rewarding and creative years of my life. Today's program features some of my favorite musical farewells as I get ready to leave VPR for a new position as the music director at WGBH in Boston.

It has been my great privilege to be your host, your friend, and your companion these many mornings. I'm glad we could share so much beautiful music together. And thank you, VPR Classical listeners, for your remarkable support of classical music in our region!
