VPR Classical Presents: Counterpoint, the Legacy Concert

In April Robert DeCormier stepped down as founding director of Counterpoint, Vermont's professional vocal ensemble.  For his final concert with them, he chose a program of his own arrangements and compositions from across his long and distinguished career.  VPR Classical Presents the Counterpoint Legacy Concert, recorded at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Burlington.

Counterpoint:  sopranos Mary Bonhag, Claire Hungerford & Marybeth McCaffrey; altos Melissa Chesnut-Tangerman, Linda Radtke & Lindsey Warren; tenors Piero Bonamico, Roger Grow & Nathaniel G. Lew; basses Eric K. Brooks, Stephen Falbel & Brett W. Murphy. 

Instrumentalists: Karen Kevra, flute; Katie Oprea, oboe; Layton Davis, clarinet; Rebecca Eldredge, bassoon; Cynthia Huard, piano; John Muratore, guitar; Don Baldini, double bass; Tom Toner, percussion.
