Governor Shumlin announces his jobs plan on Feb. 3 with Secretary of Agriculture Chuck Ross and Commerce Secretary Lawrence Miller.
Earlier this month, Governor Shumlin introduced his jobs bill, which he called "by far one of the most comprehensive jobs bills that reflects our commitment to grow jobs in Vermont one job at a time." We take a look at the proposals in the bill with Commerce Secretary Lawrence Miller and Doug Hoffer, an independent policy analyst.

Also on the program, this month students in the atmospheric sciences program at Lyndon State College have been working with an unusual piece of equipment called a Doppler on Wheels or DOW. It's on loan from the Center for Severe Weather Research in Boulder, Colorado. In recent years this specially equipped truck packed with computers and radar has contributed a lot to our understanding of violent weather - especially destructive tornadoes. We take a tour of the DOW with Dr. Joshua Werman, who leads its teams of researchers.

And the Brattleboro Women's chorus spreads a little Valentine's Day cheer.
