The Northeast Kingdom is revered for its natural beauty, resources and recreational opportunities. But traditionally the region has lagged behind the state in college graduation rates, job creation, business start ups and broadband coverage. Business and education leaders in the region are now looking at a synergistic approach of integrating travel, education, agriculture and manufacturing to shape the future of the Kingdom. We discuss this approach with Lyndon State College Dean of Institutional Advancement Bob Whittaker.

You can post your questions or comments about the development of the Northeast Kingdom below or email them to Vermontedition@vpr.net.

Plus, VPR's Robert Resnik of All The Traditions provides some suggestions on choosing the perfect holiday music from a variety of cultures.
