National Drug Take-Back Day

Prescription drug use has become a growing problem nationally as well as in Vermont. Last year, there were 34 accidental overdose deaths attributed to prescribed opiate medications. We look at the abuse of prescription drugs and the efforts to curtail it. These efforts include law enforcement, drug education and drug treatment and this Saturday's Drug Take-Back Day coordinated by the Drug Enforcement Administration. Listen
