Boccherini's Minuet

02/19/10 10:00AM By Walter Parker

The popularity of a certain Minuet by Luigi Boccherini spread like wildfire across Europe during the late 19th century, some 75 years after its composer's death.  It was arranged for all sorts of instruments, from mandolins to saxophones.  We'll celebrate Boccherini's birthday by listening to his famous Minuet in its original context, as part of a string quintet.
