From winning a Nobel Peace Prize, to sending more troops to Afghanistan, to pushing for health care changes, to dealing with a deep recession, the President's first year in office has been full of challenges and difficult choices.  And, many within the president's own party haven't always agreed with the decisions he's made.

We look into how the president's early supporters and voters are reacting to his first year in office.  What's been good?  Where has he stumbled?  What do supporters hope he tackles in his second year of office?  Our guests include the Democratic National Committeewoman from Vermont, Billi Gosh, and Middlebury College Political Science professor Matt Dickinson. Listen

Also, Vermont received word late last week that it would receive $50.5 million in federal grant money for high speed rail in the state.  We talk with Vermont's Transportation Rail Director, Joe Flynn, to learn more about how the money will be used. Listen

And, we hear from a military memorabilia buff who owns and curates a museum in Pownal dedicated to telling the story of African Americans who fought in World War II. Listen
