NASA's Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite provided this 3-D graphic view of the Earth as shown in this enhanced undated satellite photo released by NASA. The data is helping scientists understand how life on Earth is affected by climate change.

We hear about dramatic changes attributed to climate change - especially those occurring in polar regions - but what are we seeing in our own region?

Mark Breen
In advance of the U.N's climate change conference in Copenhagen, we'll talk with VPR's Eye On The Sky meteorologists Mark Breen and Steve Maleski of the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium about long term climate trends in New England, and the challenges of predicting what those trends mean for the future. Listen

Also, we talk with Chris Rimmer of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies about Vermont's first confirmed Eurasian Collared-Dove, which has taken up residence in Norwich. Listen
