Mean Mothers

Author Peg Streep says the idea that some women just aren't cut out for motherhood is one of society's last taboos.  In her new book "Mean Mothers," she explores the influence mothers have and how daughters of distant or cruel mothers can overcome the legacy of hurt. Listen

Also, we hear about a Vermont company called Green Mountain Digital which has created iPhone applications from Audubon Guides.  Company publisher Andrew Stewart tells us they're designed for use in the field to identify, photograph and locate flora and fauna. Listen
