Senator Bernie Sanders

Thursday, 11/05/09 Noon and 7pm on Vermont Edition

AP/Alden Pellett
Always outspoken and often provocative, Vermont independent Senator Bernie Sanders has been focusing lately on a range of environmental and economic issues. As a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Sanders is helping craft climate change legislation. He's also speaking out on health care reform, U.S. strategy in Afghanistan, and financial reform in the wake of the recession. Email your comments and questions for Senator Sanders to vermontedition@vpr.net.

Also VPR reporters Ross Sneyd and John Dillion join Bob Kinzel to discuss the growing field of gubernatorial candidates.
