Live from the Tunbridge World's Fair

Thursday, 09/11/08 Noon on Vermont Edition

From antique farm equipment, to prize-winning jams, and oxen pulling, Tunbridge's World's Fair never fails to delight.  Since the 1860's people have descended on the small central Vermont town for what's usually the last fair of the season.  And, this year, we do the same.  Host Jane Lindholm broadcasts live from the fairgrounds, and talks with one of the fair's organizers, Euclid Farnham.  He's been coming to the fair for more than 70 years. (Listen)

Then, we visit with Ted and Linda Hoyt, who show their Ayrshire cows at the fair each year. (Listen)

And, we follow a pie on its prize-winning journey to the fairgrounds.(Listen)
