Religion in Vermont
According to a national poll conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, people in Vermont and New Hampshire don't have as much enthusiasm for organized religion as other Americans. Nationally. 56 percent of those surveyed said religion is important to them, compared to 36 percent in the Green Mountain and Granite states. We'll talk with Dr. Raymond Patterson, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at St. Michaels College and Mitchell Hay, Pastor of the Essex United Methodist Church about what's behind the numbers.(Listen)
We'll also check out the Living Green Machine at the Sharon rest area - where nothing goes to waste. (Listen)
And we'll find out what it takes to restore an old canoe.(Listen)
