Reporters' Roundtable

All this week on Vermont Edition we've been examining specific policy initiatives that the Legislature took on during the last session. Friday on Vermont Edition, Bob Kinzel is joined by some of the state's top political reporters to look at how the Legislature's work was affected by the strengths of Vermont's political parties and party leaders. And the Fall elections are just a few months away - we'll look ahead at the candidacy announcements that will be made in the coming weeks. Our guests are VPR's Ross Sneyd, Kristin Carlson, the Montpelier bureau chief for WCAX, and Louis Porter, bureau chief of the Vermont Press Bureau. (Listen)

Also in the program, we continue our essay series, My Vermont, in which VPR listeners reflect on the character and values of life in Vermont. (Listen)

You can learn more about the series and submit your own essay online.
