Future of Vermont Yankee


 

The Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant is facing big questions about where to store its nuclear waste long term, how to pay for decommissioning the power plant, and especially what kind of independent safety review needs to be conducted there. Bob Kinzel's guests are Vermont Yankee spokesman Brian Cosgrove and James Moore of the Vermont Public Interest Research Group. (Listen)

The Seven Days contributor announced last week he was taking a sudden retirement from covering Vermont politics.
