Tax advice to meet the April 15 deadline

The deadline for filing taxes looms large on the calendar and some of us taxpayers are finally reckoning with this annual obligation. Monday on Vermont Edition, we're talking with tax professionals and answering your tax questions: What changes in the tax code should you know about? What major life events could impact your taxes? How do you decide whether to get your taxes done for you? (Listen)

Also on the program, a court decision reaffirms the rules about who's responsible for libelous information posted to blogs and other web sites. Jane Lindholm talks with blogger John Odum of Green Mountain Daily about the implication of lawsuit against the owners of iBrattleboro. (Listen)

And, the snowboarding heroes at the U.S. Open awed the crowds at Stratton, but they really made an impression on a few lucky teens. We visit with kids in the after-school program "Chill" who got the chance to hang with U.S. Open riders. (Listen)
