Preview of Town Meeting Day and the Vermont Primary

With Town Meeting just three weeks away, clerks and their staffs are busy getting ready and voters are studying their town warnings. We talk with Secretary of State Deb Markowitz about how voters should prepare for Town Meeting, and what impact the primary election will have on voter turnout that day. (Listen)

Also in the program, upstate New York was promised $1 billion in economic development funds by Governor Eliot Spitzer. We talk with reporter Erin Demuth Judd of the Glens Falls Post-Star about whether the north country will be seeing an infusion of economic development aid.(Listen)

And with temperatures dipping into the bitter single digits, we check in with a few hearty souls fishing on the ice of Lake Champlain.
