As police departments around the state aim to keep their forces fully staffed, a special effort is being made to recruit female police officers. We talk with Lt. Kathleen Stubbing, an 18-year veteran with the Burlington Police Department, and Tiffany Bluemle of Vermont Works for Women, which provides law enforcement training for women.(Listen)

Also in the program, a Vermont case goes before the U.S. Supreme Court. Law professor Cheryl Hanna explains how Wyeth v. Levine could determine whether a consumer may sue a federally regulated company.(Listen)

And we hear from the organizer of the Nametag Project, an effort to break down social barriers and build up community by getting people to introduce themselves. (Listen)
