Democratic, Republican and Progressive leadership

The 2008 legislative year is underway and we are broadcasting live from the Statehouse. Lawmakers from the Democratic Republican and Progressive parties join us to discuss their top priorities for the year, and whether those agendas will compliment each other or lead to divisiveness. Our guests are Sen. John Campbell (D-Windsor), Sen. Kevin Mullin (R-Rutland) and Rep. Chris Pearson (P-Burlington).

Plus, the pathway of how a bill becomes a law may be familiar, but VPR's Steve Zind reports on why the intricacies of the process leave few bills standing for a floor vote.
